Organic Red Lentils are dried, split legumes that are incredibly versatile and delicious! Red lentils are earthy and mild in flavor, while tender in texture. Cooked red lentils can be used as an alternative to meat in recipes; they can also be used as an addition to salads and soups. Red lentils blend or mash easily to add texture, thickness, and depth to recipes. For best cooking results: 1. Rinse & Drain 2. Add to boiling unsalted water and cook (15-20 mins red lentils, 30-40 Beluga, French, Green & Black Lentils) 3. Season the water once the lentils are soft.
