Organic Green Lentils are dried, whole legumes that are incredibly versatile and delicious! Like pasta, green lentils can be cooked in a pot of boiling, salted water. Earthy and mild in flavor, green lentils are also tender in texture. Cooked green lentils can be used as an alternative to meat in recipes; they can also be used as an addition to salads and soups. Green lentils blend or mash easily to add texture, thickness, and depth to recipes. For best cooking results: 1. Rinse & Drain 2. Add to boiling unsalted water and cook (15-20 mins red lentils, 30-40 Beluga, French, Green & Black Lentils) 3. Season the water once the lentils are soft.
